Our lights illuminate the iconic Titanic Hotel Belfast
Titanic Hotel Belfast is Northern Ireland’s newest luxury hotel and offers visitors an unforgettable experience in the region. The lavish hotel is situated in the heart of Belfast’s historic Titanic Quarter, within the former headquarters of Harland & Wolff – once the nerve centre of the largest shipyard in the world. The hotel is owned and operated by Harcourt Developments and opened in September 2017. The luxury hotel boasts 119 bedrooms with an Art Deco maritime influence. The exquisite rooms, designed by ADI Studios, pay homage to the history of the Harland & Wolff site, the art of shipbuilding and the 'Golden Age of Ocean Liners'. Titanic Hotel Belfast is decorated with historical artwork throughout. To emphasise these pieces of art, our Elle picture lights in brushed antique brass finish feature heavily throughout the hotel, highlighting the beauty of these framed paintings with soft illumination.

With three-storey high barrel-vaulted ceilings, the strikingly beautiful dual Victorian Drawing Offices uphold the history and culture of the shipbuilding location. Working with conservation architects, lath and plaster were used on the walls. Much of the original fabric of the building was retained, with decorative features and artefacts reused wherever possible. Drawing Office One houses the striking hotel ballroom. With a bright and airy space, this room is perfect for medium to large scale functions and has natural, abundant light. This breath-taking room is where many of the designs for the world’s most famous ocean liners, including the RMS Titanic, were created. To capture this experience, we designed and manufactured two brushed antique brass floor lamps with vintage pendant lamp shades. As this drawing room already has a natural abundance of light during the day, our brass floor lamps provide soft and inviting illumination after sunset.

Drawing Office Two is home to the main public bar, suitable for a light lunch or informal meetings. Our Turku table lamp is the perfect addition to Drawing Office Two. Standing on the island-style bar at 36cm in height, the dome shade of our Turku table lamp brings a serene and smart calmness to the area. A stunning polished brass finish delivers a timeless character, effortlessly fitting in with the room’s historical heritage.

The Wolff Grill restaurant provides a unique dining experience, offering views of Titanic Belfast museum and the historic slipways where the RMS Titanic was constructed. We manufactured five bespoke tyre and rope lights, measuring 80cm in diameter with a one metre suspension. This eye-catching unique light fixture embraces the heritage of the Titanic, adding to the historical experience of the hotel itself. Our bespoke pulley wall light, with a matte black finish adds a contemporary yet classic touch to The Wolff Grill restaurant. A matte appearance gives a warm, inviting appearance with the opal glass shade adding to the sophisticated style of the restaurant.

Beautifully decorated with Art Deco and Art Nouveau travel posters, The Harland Bar offers quality of service inspired by the Golden Age of Ocean Travel. Our bespoke bar lights are aesthetically pleasing and offer a simple and modern look with a brushed antique shade that helps reflect light downward.

The chairman of Harland & Wolff, Lord William James Pirrie was the man behind the design concept of the Titanic itself. Lord Pirrie’s original office has been restored to its former Edwardian state that offers cream colours and wood panelled walls that create a relaxed and informal atmosphere - perfect for larger meetings and private dining. To help create this atmosphere, we produced a three-light glass chandelier which is suspended above the main table, featuring four brushed antique brass arms and a 1.5 metre drop. Accompanied with a frosted shade, the light fitting naturally adds to the relaxed atmosphere of the room. The telephone exchange is a unique heritage room and was the communications hub for Harland & Wolff. The call announcing the sinking of the Titanic was received in this historic room. We designed and manufactured two 70cm high table lamps for this room with a timeless antique brass finish, elegantly adding to the historical decoration.
